FINAL FANTASY IV: THE AFTER YEARS was released in Japan on February 20th, 2008! FFIV: THE AFTER YEARS's main character Ceodore is the son of FFIV main characters Cecil and Rosa. And so, this week we would like to introduce some parents and their children from the FINAL FANTASY series!

Born son of Cecil, the great hero and king of the kingdom of Baron, Ceodore is troubled wondering what his real place in the world is in the face of the overwhelming expectations set upon him. However, thanks to the many friends he meets and his experiences fighting alongside his parents, he grows into a strong and confident man.

Dorgann (father) and Bartz (son)

Dorgann is one of the four Warriors of Dawn who fought and sealed away the malevolent warlock Exdeath. After the battle with Exdeath, Dorgann weds a woman named Stella and they give birth to a son, Bartz, who is the protagonist of FFV.
After the sudden passing away of Stella, Dorgann and Bartz journey the world, but Dorgann also ends up passing away after falling ill. To honor his father's last wish Bartz continues the journey, eventually making two generations to face Exdeath.

Jecht (father) & Tidus (son), Braska (father) & Yuna (daughter)

Jecht is a famous former blitzball star and his son Tidus, while holding resentment against his father, strives to surpass him. Braska is the High Summoner who defeated Sin and restored peace to the world, and Yuna his daughter who follows the calling to become a summoner, vowing to once again defeat Sin as her father did.
Brought together by fate, Tidus and Yuna learn the true nature of the world and choose to fight for a different outcome than that of their parents.
