June 6 is National Eyewear Day, celebrating not only the functional importance of glasses and sunglasses but their role as fashionable accessories as well! We’ve gathered a group of FINAL FANTASY characters who can bring this day into perfect focus!

Baku (FFIX)

The leader of Tantalus, a group that operates both as a theater troupe and band of thieves, and man who raised FINAL FANTASY IX protagonist Zidane after finding him abandoned in Lindblum at the age of four. Jovial and ever concerned for the well-being of his troupe members, he is a well-liked head of command!

Auron (FFX)

A swordsman and guardian of the late High Summoner Braska, called the “legendary guardian” by the people of Spira. At the end of their journey together, Jecht and Braska, knowing they will be unable to return, ask Auron to watch over Tidus and Yuna, their respective children.

Ignis (FFXV)

Ignis was raised alongside Prince Noctis to be adviser to the heir apparent. An intensive education instilled in him the resourcefulness and composure required for the role, his tactical acumen proving invaluable over the course of the prince’s journey.

Rude (FFVII REMAKE)

A member of the Turks, often seen with his partner Reno in tow. A man of few words, he prefers to let his fists do the talking—an approach bolstered by his impressive physique. Despite the stoicism with which he approaches his work, Rude has a deep emotional investment in the well-being of his comrades.
