A young man from the future trying to change the oppressive fate thrown upon him. He suddenly appeared in front of FFXIII-2 heroine Serah on the night a meteor fell near New Bodhum.

As the last surviving human in the future year 700 AF, Noel lived a life hunting monsters. Even as everyone he knew disappeared, he never gave up hope. This resolution catches the favor of the Goddess Etro, who grants him the ability to enter gates and travel through time via the timeless world Valhalla.

Upon meeting Lightning, who is acting as knight to the Goddess Etro and tasks Noel with taking care of Serah, he invites Serah to embark on a journey to save the world from destruction.

Being unadjusted to much social interaction, Noel’s vague and overly direct statements stick out, but he is actually a friendly gentleman with a playful side.

As the harsh environment he grew up in required quick wits at all times, he’s often short with words. How will Noel’s journey during the course of FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 change him as a person?
