SQUARE ENIX® today released the first episode of ‘The Creation of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Shadowbringers’, a new developer diary series that takes viewers behind the scenes of the critically-acclaimed MMO’s latest expansion.
‘Episode One: Telling a Tale’ focuses on the lore and narrative of Shadowbringers, with the creative minds behind the beloved title, taking an in-depth look at the inspirations and secrets that drove its development. The premiere episode features interviews with:
- Naoki Yoshida (Producer and Director)
- Banri Oda (World Lore Creator and Main Scenario Writer)
- Natsuko Ishikawa (Main Scenario Writer)

The full series will span six episodes, with each episode focusing on a different element of the title and featuring various members of the development team detailing the work that went into creating the game. New episodes will be released every Thursday at 6am PST.

- Episode Four – March 19
