Goblins
Goblins are introduced in FINAL FANTASY and are the first monsters encountered in the game. They appear in subsequent titles with varying features and characteristics.
In FINAL FANTASY XIV, they're a masked race with expertise in machinery and explosives who bear an uncanny resemblance to the goblins from FINAL FANTASY XI. Like previous titles, many are hostile, but some are friendly and even require adventurers' help.
